Cisa started its activity as a manufacturer of wood screens and sieves at the end of the 19th Century. Since then sieves have evolved from a agricultural tools to metrological equipment submitted to rigorous and demanding standards. Cisa started manufacturing its own line of laboratory screening equipment in 1987 and was the first to present a digitally controlled sieve at ACHEMA exhibition (1988). Current strategy is based on intensive use of new technologies, commitment to in-house electronic control technology development, close cooperation with universities and a strong bid for the foreign trade.
