Nervous systems

Description

Nervous system is a part of the animal’s body that coordinates its response to outside stimuli and coordinates both voluntary and involuntary actions. In most animals the nervous system can be separated into the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS). CNS contains brain and spinal cord while PNS consists of nerves throughout the whole body. Research of nervous systems is the main focus of neuroscience.
