Pressure

Description

Pressure measurement is necessary in most applications that require either reduced or increased pressure while atmospheric pressure is mainly measured for meteorological and altitude determination purposes. Reduced pressure environments are widely employed in many sub-disciplines of chemistry and physics in order to lower boiling points, successfully ionize molecules and stimulate space-like conditions. Increased pressure is used to increase reaction rates and to study high pressure phenomena.
