Description
Solid-gas reaction is a type of solid state reaction that is performed by exposing a reactive solid to a stream of reactive gas. Depending on reagent reactivity, solid-gas reactions can be performed at reduced, elevated or at room temperature. As well as solid state reactions, solid-gas reactions offer reduced costs, decreased amounts of chemical waste, time savings and, sometimes, perceptively hygher yields.
