Description
Urinary system consists of two kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra, and is also known as the renal system. Urinary system eliminates waste, regulates blood volume, pressure and pH, and controls the levels of electrolytes and metabolites in blood. Acquired and congenital dysfunctions of the kidneys are researched by nephrologists while urologists deal with the remaining organs of the urinary system.
